· 12 oz of bottle buffalo sauce
· ¼ tsp of onion powder
· ¼ tsp of white pepper
· ¼ tsp of salt
· ¼ tsp of chili powder
· ¼ tsp of garlic
· 1 tsp of oregano
· Oil
Instructions:
For the Wings (Frying and Saucing)
Step 1: Cut the chicken part of your choice into chinks that are bite sized.
Step 2: Get your saucepan and then fill it with oil until the oil covers third of the pan. Cover it with the lid. Once done, turn the burner on and then set it to medium heat.
Step 3: Get your plastic bag. Open the bag and then put 4 cups of flour, 1 tbsp of garlic salt and the 1 tbsp of pepper inside it. Zip it back and make sure to zip it tightly and properly. Once secured, shake the bag for the ingredients to mix. Open the bag and then put in one chunk of chicken. After that, close the bag again and then shake it. If you are sure that the chicken is well coated, remove it from the bag and then repeat the process for the rest of the chicken chunks. Remember to put them one by one.
Step 4: Once the oil is properly heated and is boiling, get your slotted spoon. Use the slotted spoon to put two to four pieces of chicken in the pan with the hot oil. Wait for a few minutes or until the chicken is golden brown before removing them from the pan. Place the cooked chickens in a plate with paper towels covering it. Repeat the process for the rest of the chicken chunks.
Step 5: Get the plastic container and fill it with cooked chicken until the chicken chunks cover half of the container. Then, fill it with buffalo sauce. Place the lid back on and then shake it until the chicken chunks are well coated. Remove the chunks and place them on a plate. Repeat the process for the remaining chunks.
For the Buffalo sauce:
Step 1: Place a saucepan on a stove and then turn it on to medium heat. Put the butter and the brown sugar in the saucepan. Make sure to use medium heat so that the sugar would not be overcooked. Melt the butter while you stir the contents.
Step 2: Pour in all remaining ingredients: tomato sauce, garlic, white pepper, onion powder, salt, chili powder, and oregano. Mix well.
Step 3: Reduce the heat to low and then cook. Wait for a few minutes for the ingredients to be mixed together. You should wait about two to three minutes for the whole cooking process to be done. While cooking, make sure to stir lightly and gently. Stirring properly makes sure that the finished mixture is mixed thoroughly well and that it is balanced.
Step 4: Serve and enjoy the fruit of your labor.
Note: You can skip the white pepper, chili powder, and onion powder and use hot sauce in their place for a spicier and hotter version of the boneless buffalo wings recipe.
